Biography
Dr. Valeria Drago is an Italian Neurologist. She graduated at University of Messina School of Medicine in 2001. In the same institution she took her residency (cum laude) in Neurology. She has done a three year fellowship in Behavioral Neurology with Dr. Kenneth Heilman at University of Florida, College of Medicine, Gainesville, FL, USA where she joined the faculty as a full time Adjunct Assistant Professor (2006-2010). She came back to Italy on January 2010 and she is currently holding a research position at the Center Fatebenefratelli in Brescia (Italy), and a courtesy appointment at UF as Adjunct Assistant Professor. She has several national and international collaborations including the department of Neurology at University of Bologna where she is currently at her 3rd year of Ph.D. The majority of her research has been devoted to investigate attention and creativity in degenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer′s and Parkinson′s diseases.
